The Refúgio Collection is born from the desire of exploring the encounter of different materialities. The wood turned base brings lightness to the structure and supports the container made out of soapstone, a traditional and abundant type of stone in the state of Minas Gerais. The brass is hidden as a gem in the interior or atop the pieces. The golden colored metal evokes a sense of comfort and protection, serving in the different typologies as a lid, a partition or a base.
Composed of four table objects and three candleholders, the collection can be both used individually or as a set, allowing for different compositions of pots, vases, bowls, candleholders and decorative elements.
The wooden base and the soapstone container are handmade, turned in a lathe. The nature of the materials translates to unique pieces, with different tonalities and textures, resulting in an exclusive identity to each one of them.
