The Lasca Collection, composed of vases and candle holders, features the materials of casting and fusing glass as its protagonists. The irregular shapes of the components give the collection its name. There is a play of color, texture, shine, transparency, and reflection in the interaction between the externally polished cast receptacles and the rough, colored glass. The arrangement or candle, sometimes placed in front of or behind the glass, produces different effects. The metal pieces can also be used individually as candle holders, and can even create new arrangements with one another.
