The shearing sounds of scissors and fabric, the sewing machine, the rhythmic pedal. Accelerating, sometimes going slowly. My heart almost wants to keep up. The smell of steam from the iron also arrives, straightening future pockets, sleeves, and waistbands. It's not yet six. On the radio, the rosary is halfway through, and my help is already late. But how good it was to wake up to such a familiar sound.

The Cós collection consists of floor lamps, table lamps, pendant lights, and wall lights. The pieces explore the materials and techniques present in the sewing craft, particularly the textures created by gathers and excess fabric—in recycled cotton and PET—giving the light nuances and softness. The brass straps mimic the waistband, a commonly found element in clothing. The line of lamps stems from the desire to revisit, in some way, the designers' childhood with their seamstress grandmothers to create new texts and images.
