The Cais trays emerge from a creative formal exercise aimed at creating a supporting surface for glasses, stemware, fruit, and objects, defined by both physical and visual boundaries. Drawing an analogy to the maritime and port world, the pieces utilize fused glass to evoke the wet texture of water. This element contrasts with the straight lines of the wooden bars that interact rhythmically, either emerging to the surface or serving as the base of the piece.

Materials: fusing glass and wood (Jequitibá).

Finishing: wax.
